  • Yes! We also offer esthetic and more discrete treatment options such as clear braces and Invisalign®. Many of our orthodontic patients are adults. Orthodontic treatment can improve oral health, function, and confidence at any age.

  • Treatment time varies based on individual needs. On average, orthodontic treatment lasts between 12 and 30 months, with most patients completing treatment in about 22 months.

  • Most patients are seen every 5–10 weeks. Appointment frequency depends on your specific orthodontic needs and your stage of treatment.

  • The cost of orthodontic treatment varies depending on your individual needs and the type of treatment recommended. During your consultation, we will create a personalized treatment plan that includes a clear and transparent breakdown of all fees. We review all costs with you before treatment begins, so there are no surprises.

    We are also pleased to offer family discounts when multiple family members are undergoing orthodontic treatment. If you have any questions about fees, financing options, or flexible payment plans, our friendly team is always happy to help.

  • Yes. We understand busy schedules. Occasionally, we may request to speak with a parent afterward, so we ask parents to check in with the front desk before leaving.

  • Placing braces does not hurt. Some soreness may occur after adjustments and typically lasts a few days. Over-the-counter pain relief can help. Most visits cause little to no discomfort.

  • Yes! Mouthguards are recommended for sports. Musicians may need a short adjustment period but can continue playing normally. We have treated many patients who play wind instruments, even professional musicians.

  • Yes. Regular dental checkups and cleanings are important throughout orthodontic treatment to maintain oral health.

  • Brush at least twice daily for two minutes each time, especially before bed. We will demonstrate proper brushing and flossing techniques for braces and provide helpful tools to help you keep your teeth clean and healthy.

  • Yes. Avoid sticky and hard foods such as ice, hard candy, raw vegetables, and caramel. Following these guidelines helps prevent broken brackets and unnecessary repairs.

  • No. Invisalign aligners are removed during meals, allowing you to eat and drink freely.

  • Yes. Retainers are essential to maintain your results and prevent teeth from shifting. Retainers are included in your treatment plan. We offer multiple retainer options, tailored to your specific needs.
