Meet Your Doctors
Dr. Sarah Malek
BSc, DDS, MSc (Orthodontics), FRCDC
Dr. Sarah Malek is a certified specialist in Orthodontics. She earned her Dental Degree from McGill University, where she received multiple clinical and academic awards, including recognition from the American Association of Orthodontists. She went on to complete a hospital residency at the University of Connecticut, followed by her Master’s and Specialty training in Orthodontics at the University of Toronto.
Dr. Malek is passionate about teaching and serves as an instructor at the University of Toronto. Her role as staff at the Hospital for Sick Children focused on cleft lip and palate and the treatment of children with complex medical needs. Her research has appeared in several peer-reviewed journals.
Outside the clinic—and whenever she finds a free moment as a mom—she enjoys traveling, hiking, and volunteering with various international dental missions.
Dr. David A. Brown
BSc, DDS, MSc (Orthodontics), FRCDC
With more than 25 years of experience, Dr. David Brown has built a reputation for delivering exceptional orthodontic care. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Western Ontario, followed by a prestigious internship at The Hospital for Sick Children. Dr. Brown then returned to Western to complete his specialty training, earning his Master of Clinical Dentistry and certification as an Orthodontist.
At the local level, Dr. Brown has been President of the York Region Dental Society and is current acting President of the Ontario Dental Association, reflecting his commitment to leadership and excellence in the dental profession.
When he isn’t busy travelling to give lectures and interviews, Dr. Brown enjoys playing hockey, golfing and skiing with his family.
